The Belgian Constitutional Court admits the conformity of the law relative to euthanasia of minors with the fundamental rights protected by the Constitution read in the light of the European Convention on Human Rights and the international treaties. The Court is satisfied with the conciliation operated between the right to privacy of the minor endowed with discernment and the right to life because of the numerous guarantees which the law develops against possible abuses and because of the adaptation to the case of the vulnerable minor.
